Terms and conditions - DogLady

Welcome to DogLady. By using our services, including in-home dog sitting, daycare, or any other pet care services provided by DogLady, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

DogLady provides dog sitting, daycare, and related pet care services. All services are provided based on availability and booking confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client or pet at our discretion, particularly in cases where a pet’s behavior may pose a risk to others or to our staff.

All bookings must be made in advance through our website, email, or phone. Full payment or a deposit may be required to secure a booking, and bookings are considered confirmed only after payment has been received. Cancellations must be communicated at least [X] hours/days in advance. Refunds are issued at the discretion of DogLady, depending on the timing of the cancellation and the nature of the service. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit or full service fee.

Clients must ensure that all pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and are free from contagious illnesses. Pets with aggressive behavior, biting history, or other safety concerns must be disclosed prior to booking. DogLady reserves the right to refuse service for pets that are sick, aggressive, or otherwise unsafe. While DogLady takes all reasonable

precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet while in our care, we are not liable for any illness, injury, or loss incurred during the provision of services, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Clients are responsible for any damages caused by their pet to property or persons.

In the event of an emergency, DogLady will make every effort to contact the client. If immediate care is required and the client cannot be reached, DogLady is authorized to seek veterinary attention at the client’s expense. DogLady welcomes service animals in accordance with applicable accessibility laws, and clients with service animals must notify DogLady in advance and provide any necessary documentation if requested.

Client information, including pet details and contact information, will be collected and stored in accordance with applicable privacy laws. DogLady will not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as necessary for providing services. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, and clients will be notified of significant changes via our website or direct communication. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of DogLady’s services will be resolved in accordance with Ontario law and in applicable courts within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
